COVID-19 County Level Case and Death Counts
The New York Times is providing COVID-19 case and death counts. They have documented some geographic exceptions, because of the way local governments are reporting. County Land Area
This data is used in the population density calculations. The US Census Bureau publishes this information here USA Counties: 2011 Under "Land Area" - File: "LND01.xls"; Column D

This data is used to calculate the population density, cases per capita, and deaths per capita. The US Census Bureau publishes this data here: County Population Totals: 2010-2019. The exact data used can be found this US Census Bureau published spreadsheet.
